Hand-washing: Do's and Don'ts

Hand-washing is an easy way to prevent infection.

Frequent hand-washing is one of the best ways to avoid getting sick and spreading illness. Hand-washing requires only soap and water or an alcohol-based hand sanitizer — a cleanser that doesn't require water.

When to wash your hands

As you touch people, surfaces and objects throughout the day, you accumulate germs on your hands. In turn, you can infect yourself with these germs by touching your eyes, nose or mouth. Although it's impossible to keep your hands germ-free, washing your hands frequently can help limit the transfer of bacteria, viruses and other microbes.

PRIMARY NEWS

Primary Coordinator

Dear Parents/Guardians and Friends,

We have come to the end of Term 1 and I could not be any prouder of the support and togetherness of our school community. There have been many messages sent out this Term which I would strongly suggest reading them.

Interstate school trips, school camps, all school excursions and assemblies are cancelled until 31st of July, 2020. All activities after this date are on hold until further notice.

Home Learning Packs

In the event that the school will be in lockdown in Term 2, home learning packs have been sent out or is provided for you to pick up from the office at your earliest convenience.

Please note that these tasks should not be completed over the holiday break and must be started at the beginning of Term 2 if the school is still closed during that time. If the school happens to open at the beginning of Term 2, we ask that you just return the pack to school as is and we will continue with our regular planned Term 2 curriculum at school.

Until further notice, we will start Term 2 on the 14th of April 2020.

Many thanks for your support, assistance and cooperation during this difficult time for all of us.

Kind Regards,

Mrs Esra Uzunbay
Primary Coordinator
